Bethany Swecker/Rockwood’s Story

Posted on Oct 14, 2014 by in Story |

My daughter Jordyn has a long story and road ahead of her.

At birth she was diagnosed with Tetrology of Fallot, a congenital heart defect that would need surgery to correct it.

At 3 months old, she had open heart surgery in Denver; a parent’s nightmare when having a baby!

By the grace of God, the surgery went fantastic and she recovered within days! Our nightmare was over!

To our surprise, at 4 months old she was having seizures and was diagnosed with a rare disorder of Epilepsy called West Syndrome.

She is now 9 months old and at a 3 month old developmental level. She is on 2 different seizures medicines and still continuing to have several different kinds of seizures daily. It’s been a struggle everyday and hoping the next will be better for her! Support and Prayer has been our only hope to make it through each day
